My main motivation was my fear of getting Alzheimer's myself. I'm 60. My mother passed away last summer at the age of 90. And she had diagnosed Alzheimer's for five years. And I was just fearful. 

I have four daughters and I am a relatively, I guess, older mom. So when I was doing research and heard and talked and listened to Julia, that saying that...

Alzheimer's does not have to be, you know, inevitable. It doesn't have to be it. It can be reversed. It can be. It doesn't have to be a death sentence or, you know, it doesn't have to, it can be fixed, it can be prevented.

And that was exciting to me. There's that stigma or the old saying that you know, it's old age brain or you do that it happens with age and it's inevitable to start forgetting things or losing things, which is also a thing that really hit home for me when watching Julia's first video is the loss of things and it really upset me.

I probably would lose or forget my keys two or three times a week. To the point sometimes at night, I didn't make sure I put it in the right place. So that in the morning when I'm leaving the house at 4:30 to get to work at 5:00 that I can't find my keys, and then I get into panic mode. And I look back at where I was in the beginning and I was skeptical.

I allowed myself to be very open minded and just to drink in what the information and the education was, rather than being skeptical, or questioning, is this going to work? Is this not going to work? I just was very open minded, very regimented. 

When it came to it, I look forward to my group calls. I look forward to my calls with Kelsey. I know I'm going to be better. I know that my life is going to be fuller that I'm going to be more positive.

My sleep is better. My disposition is better. My body health is better. So that will help me have a healthier life. My brain is more open. It was worth it to me. 

The information and the experience and a relationship with Kelsey and with my group was invaluable.

My biggest win was knowing there is a solution. I don't have to settle that I am going to get Alzheimer's and I'm going to not remember my children and that I can live a long life and be able to see my grandchildren. My win is that I know there's something I can do about it. I have this toolbox. I have things that I can reflect back on. 

I have these things that I have learned about myself and learned how to cope with things how to recognize when on slipping, if you will. I feel like that I have some control. And that if I do all the things that I learned, which I do better, sleep better. And I have a more positive I guess outlook and a life. And I tell Kelsey that...
